The Bible

As a Catholic, I believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and I will reference it frequently in posts. I will be using the New American Bible, which is an approved translation of the Scriptures that can be found online here.

The Bible, as God’s Word, is an irreplaceable necessity for spiritual growth. Because of this, I encourage everyone to read from the Scriptures daily. Set aside a special time before bed or in the morning and spend 30 minutes or however long you can reading and reflecting on a passage from the Bible. You’ll be amazed at how your spiritual life will blossom when it is nourished by God’s Word.
